You don't know me, but I found your website through the COTA site. Cason is such a beautiful boy. My family and I know the roller coaster ride you are on. We have been there. We knew before our son was born that he had kidney problems, and have been dealing with it since his birth. 2 months before his 9th birthday, our son was finally transplanted in June 2008. The day of my son's transplant, I thought I would be a nervous wreck. However, God gave me the strength that I needed to get through my husband's donor surgery and then our son's transplant. Of course, the journey is not over for us either and it is very hard when you see your child suffering so badly. Keep your spirits high and stay strong. The Lord will get you all through this. We will be praying for Cason and your family.
I'm glad they were able to catch what the problem was and are looking into the best solution. Stay strong, I know how exhausting hospitals can be! May your spirits stay high and may God continue to watch over you and bless you! Feel better little man!

I'm so thankful the golf tournament was a HUGE success and that Cason is feeling better. I'm praying for HEALING for this precious baby. I'm also praying that God will give you, his family, wisdom and strength in the days ahead and with the decisions you will face. You are such a witness and encouragement to me. I have been looking at your family's photo album over and over and over. I do not know you guys but through your beautiful pictures I have been touched so much. What a beautiful and special family! The love just shows tremendously and is so contagious. I will pray daily for your family. I pray that God will give you guys strenghth and that sweet little Cason will soon be able to enjoy life to the fullest! We serve an awesome God that is still in the healing business. Miracles still happen and I know he is going to touch your precious little boy. You guys have already touched so many lives. Keep the faith and know that you live in a community, that although people may only know your story, they love you and are praying for you.

Hey! All of you are in our constant & daily prayers! We feel soooo in awe of knowing all of you & what a witness & encouragement yall have been for us. I looked at Evan's website with COTA that Amy emailed us about.He had some need fundraisers. 1)the Goodsearch.com where 1 cent per web search donated when Cason is chosen as charity 2)Recycle for life- ink cartridges & cell phones 3) life wrist bands (green for organ donation) sold in schools 4) pancake & sausage breakfast 5)community rummage sale.

Just wanted to let you know that Cason will be in my prayers.
(I used to work in the renal failure field with adults, as a nurse. Now I'm working as a school nurse where Cason's aunt works.)

I know exactly all to well the struggles you and your family are facing with Cason. Your hopes, fears, heartaches,challenges, trips back and forth to Atlanta and the waiting. I had a daughter who passed away at age 10 yrs. who had two previous heart transplants and was waiting on her third. You and your family are in my thoughts and in my prayers. God bless!
